Full Time Nurse Practitioner - Idlewyld Manor Long Term Care Home

Looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our team of dynamic and innovative Nurse Practitioners. As a member of the Idlewyld Manor Nursing Team, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides clinical consultation to nursing teams within the Home. The NP works in close collaboration with the Nursing, Medical, and the interdisciplinary teams to ensure excellence in care for residents living within the Home, while contributing to the planning, evaluating, and improving clinical programs. Arranges for external specialist consultations and provides communication to hospitals, health providers and other inter-professional teams as required. Develops and delivers education and training programs for staff, care-givers and community partners as required. Researches and promotes innovative best practice approaches to support knowledge acquisition and on-going professional development within the nursing teams.
