West Elgin CHC - Telling our Story
“I enjoy working at the Centre because of the autonomy in managing my own roster which allows me to follow my own clients through their lives and create meaningful connections with them. I work with a really supportive clinical team and I also work closely with our allied health staff. Offering our clients at no-cost services like physiotherapy, mental health support, diabetes support, and systems navigation allows me to provide the best client- centered care. The work-life balance is another major benefit. I enjoy good benefits and HOOPP, generous vacation and paid personal time and our leadership staff continue to advocate for fair pay across health care sectors. Overall, the combination of autonomy, support, flexibility, and generous non-monetary benefits makes this a gratifying place to work.” - JJ, NP - West Elgin Community Health Centre
