Position Information

Temporary position until approximately March 31, 2026.

Rotation/Shifts

Days, evenings, nights, including weekends, 8 hour shifts. Must be available for stand by and call back on evenings, nights, weekends, and stat holidays.

Basic Requirements

  • Current BCLS/CPR;
  • Certificate of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario;
  • Recent Critical Care experience;
  • Critical thinking skills;
  • Demonstrates a sound knowledge of the Nursing process;
  • Demonstrates a desire and ability to participate in patient teaching;
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills;
  • Demonstrates the ability to work effectively as an active member of the health care team;
  • Identifies a commitment to personal continuing education activities;
  • Demonstrates understanding of and participation in the evaluation process;
  • Demonstrates an awareness and adherence to hospital policies and procedures;
  • Demonstrates professional and respectful attitude with patients and colleagues;
  • Eligible to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Recent radiology experience;
  • Nursing degree;
  • Specialty certification (ACLS, critical care nursing course, relevant CNA certification);
  • Proficiency in English and French oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
