Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our healthcare team in Etobicoke, Canada. As an RPN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to established nursing protocols and standards of practice
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor and document patients' conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatments
• Provide patient and family education on health management, disease prevention, and post-discharge care
• Assist with activities of daily living and promote patient independence when appropriate
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic health record systems
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous learning
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations
• Support and mentor nursing students and new team members as needed
