Our Village at Coleman Care Centre, located in Barrie, Ontario has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time ASSISTANT DIRECTOR of NURSING - RN to join their LONG-TERM CARE village team.

Shifts: 75 hours bi-weekly, Mon - Fri + alternating weekends.

To be successful as our new Assistant Director of Nursing Care, you will:
  • Hold a current registration as a Registered Nurses (RN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Hold current Heart Save Level of CPR
  • Have three (3) years of experience leading and directing department(s) in a healthcare setting
  • Experience working with people living with Dementia and understand how to support individuals expressing Personal Expressions
  • Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members
  • Understand the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the Assistant Director of Nursing Care role

It would be an asset if our new Assistant Director of Nursing Care has:
  • Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, legislation and regulations applicable to the long-term care sector, including the Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2007 and Health & Safety
  • Experience in Geriatric nursing
