Hourly Rate: $29.40 - $32.38 per hour (Oct 9, 2023 wage *Inclusive benefits in lieu at 14%)

Duties to Commence: Immediately

  • Knowledge acquired through the successful completion of a recognized PSW program that meet the current standards of the Ontario Ministry of Health & Long-Term Care Act
  • Working knowledge of Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) Behavioral Support Ontario (BSO) and a minimum of one-year experience in palliative
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Current CPR
  • Ability to understand, interpret and carry out written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to set priorities
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team
  • Demonstrates the organization's values of Honesty, Accountability, Respect & Teamwork
  • Ability to perform duties and provide care in a manner that supports and complies with the Resident's Bill of Rights
