This role is a 3-month Contract position for Full Time Visiting Nurse, with a potential for extension. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, with no weekend or afterhours requirement! You will be required to travel throughout Norfolk County, Haldimand County and Brant County.

Every day will be different! You will be able to apply your clinical skills in areas such as wound care, IV therapy, palliative care, tube feeding and medication administration, as well as health teaching. In this visiting nurse position, you will be travelling to each clients home to provide

What you will need to be successful
  • Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing
  • A Clear Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Screening completed within the past 12 months
  • Professional Liability Insurance or willing to obtain
  • A 2 step TB Test completed within the past 12 months
  • A valid driver's license and ability/willingness to travel within the Norfolk, Haldimand and Brant Counties
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ability to communicate in French or other languages is considered an asset
