This is a full-time opportunity to contribute to keeping Canadians safe and healthy while getting to explore new locations across our beautiful country. As a FULL-TIME TRAVEL NURSE part of our rapid deployment team, you will be ready to help a community in need at a moment's notice. You will have the unique opportunity to work in various healthcare settings across various cities and provinces across Canada. REQUIREMENTS: Available 48 weeks a year for deployment within one (1) week notice.Adaptability to various urban and rural hospital settings. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessments, treatments, and medication administration.Collaborate with healthcare professionals, patients, and families to create personalized care plans.Monitor patients' conditions, detect changes, and respond appropriately to emergencies.Maintain accurate medical records and document patient progress.Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions and ongoing treatment plans.Adapt to different healthcare settings and effectively integrate into new teams.Follow all hospital policies, protocols, and safety guidelines. QUALIFICATIONS: Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with your provincial governing body.A minimum of two (2) years of recent Canadian experience in an Emergency Department and other experience is a vital asset.BLS, ACLS, CTAS, TNCC and PALS certifications.Strong clinical skills and the ability to handle a variety of medical cases.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and healthcare teams.Flexibility and adaptability to changing work environments and travel schedules.A passion for travel, learning, and experiencing new cultures.Provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination as per provincial Immunization Policy.Must be willing to undergo a background and vulnerable sector check.
