Position Title: Program Manager, Bachelor of Science - Nursing

Status: FT Admin Contract

Hours: 37.5

Faculty/Department: Faculty of Health Science & Wellness

Campus/Location: North Campus

Salary: NFT Admin 6 - Min ($80,970) - Max ($121,455)

What you will do:

The Program Manager is responsible for a range of responsibilities in the delivery of the Bachelor of Science - Nursing program in the Faculty of Health Sciences and Wellness. The incumbent will work closely with the Associate Dean in coordinating and delivering the program. The successful candidate will have a passion for student success and engagement coupled with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently. The incumbent must also possess a strong working knowledge of the field of nursing. Knowledge of program requirements, CASN accreditation and College of Nurses of Ontario program approval processes, college systems, policies and procedures, outcomes-based education, flexible learning, classroom management is considered an asset.

What you bring to the role:

Education

The successful candidate will have a Baccalaureate degree in nursing. Master's preferred.

Experience

The successful candidate will have 5 - 10 years of related experience in nursing and post secondary nursing education. In addition, the following would be considered an asset:
  • Previous experience in nursing education theory and practice, management, working with post secondary education learners, quality assurance, learning management systems such as Blackboard, student information systems such as Banner and/or accommodation/human rights

  • Interpersonal skills
