Nurse Practitioner - Contract Full Time - Long Term Care

The County of Bruce, Long Term Care Home is currently seeking qualified applicants for the full-time contract position of Attending Nurse Practitioner (Attending NP).  Reporting to the Director of Nursing, the Attending NP collaborates with the resident and family/caregiver, and the health care team in the development, implementation and evaluation of the resident’s plan of care.  They will provide leadership and mentorship to staff and work to enhance their knowledge, assessment skills, and ability to care for residents.  The Attending NP also leads and collaborates in research, education and evidence-based practice initiatives to optimize the resident, LTC and health system outcomes
