Take an inside look at what you'll do each day
  • Maintain documentation of all programs and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Familiarity with Occupational Health & Safety Act, Workplace Insurance Safety Act and PHIPA
  • Perform pre-placement medicals and assessments (e.g., vision, medical history review and ergonomic compatibly)

What you need to be successful
  • A current Certificate of Registration (RPN) and membership in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification and a demonstrated ability to respond appropriately to medical emergencies
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in industrial or hospital settings is an asset
  • Familiarity with provincial legislation including Occupational Health & Safety Act, Workplace Insurance Safety Act and PHIPA
  • The ability to work independently and be a self starter
  • Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills with an ability to set and adjust priorities
  • Good communication skills and an ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders, including employees and management
