Nurse Practitioner for a National Clinic Network Serving Veterans

One of Canadas largest clinic networks is seeking part-time Nurse Practitioners to serve Military veterans and RCMP who are dealing with conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, sleep disorders, and chronic pain. With clinics in more than 14 cities across Canada, the network provides access to medical cannabis prescriptions, ongoing education, and support services for veterans.

Responsibilitie include providing direct patient care and treatment for various healthcare conditions, including shockwave therapy for erectile dysfunction. NPs will work both independently with patients one on one, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Nursing, specializing as a Nurse Practitioner
  
• Registered in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  

Working Hours and Shift Schedules:

• Initially, working hours will be in the evenings, 10 to 20 hours per week, gradually transitioning to full-day or afternoon/evening shifts as the company grows
  
• Minimum requirement of 2 days per week, with a preference for availability of 4 days per week as patient volume increases
  

Training:

• Comprehensive training will be provided, covering company documents, electronic medical records (EMR), best practices, and the usage of medical equipment
  

Compensation:

• The compensation for this position is $75 per hour.
