Nursing Graduate Guarantee Program - Nursing Opportunities
Temporary full time
The Nursing Graduate Guarantee (NGG) program is funded by the ministry to provide new graduate Registered Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses with temporary full-time employment, above staffing complement, to support their successful transition to practice and into full time employment.
What must you have?
Current Certificate of Registration in the General Class with the College of Nurses of Ontario required.
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
Nursing diploma or degree from a recognized college or university.
Contribute to safe, quality care by
Managing a workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Addressing and resolving issues in a productive, respectful manner.
Exercising sound professional judgment and using best practice guidelines.
Contributing to a safe, inclusive environment for all through compliance with patient and staff safety policies and procedures.
How to Participate
Eligible nurses must use the NGG online portal to register and create a profile.
- Visit the NGG online portaland register as a Nursing User.
- Apply for the various departments with Mackenzie Health.
- Complete the transition into practice period.
