We are a values-based, client-centric organization that includes 240 long-term care beds, 86 hospital beds, and a variety of outpatient and community support services.

We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Personal Support Worker to join our organization.

As a Personal Support Worker, you will be an integral part of a collaborative and interdisciplinary team focused on delivering exemplary care to our residents.

SHIFTS/HOURS:

4 / 8 / 12 hour shifts
Must be available to work all shifts: days, evenings, nights (including weekends)

STARTING RATE OF PAY:

$23.96- $24.53/hr
+ 14% in Lieu of Benefits + 4% in Lieu of Vacation + $3 Wage Enhancement = $28.27-$28.94/hr

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate from a Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care approved program, or equivalent
Good attendance record
Demonstrated commitment to working and caring for older adults
Must be able to work independently, as well as part of a team
Excellent organizational and communication skills essential

POSITION SUMMARY

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including direct personal care
Contribute to the quality of life of residents by promoting their independence, dignity, comfort, safety and mobility
Ensure that residents' social, emotional, spiritual and physical needs are met
