Job Summary
As a member of regional sales teams, the Nurse Clinician Consultant supports and promotes our products and programs through education, training, evaluation and problem solving. problems in the context of pre-sales and post-sales activities and implementation activities. This involves working with the ICU Medical team (sales reps, pump sales specialists, national pharmacy consultant, regional sales manager, marketing team, etc.) to plan and execute regional plans as well as plans for sectors (territories) and accounts.

As part of the ongoing safety monitoring of products throughout their life cycle, I will ensure, if I witness a problem with a product or learn of a complaint, an adverse event, adverse drug event and/or serious public health threat involving or related to an ICU Medical product, to communicate such information, in a timely manner, to the safety group or appropriate complaint handling by ICU Medical.
Salary range: $90,000 - 110,000.

Tasks and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of products and services in order to make clinical recommendations that positively influence sales opportunities and implementations. Product portfolios include consumables (Clave line, peripheral intravenous [PIC] catheters, i.v. administration sets, oncology products and other accessories), infusion systems (Plum 360, CADD, Medfusion, MedNet and Pharmguard [safe medication delivery software], IV-DME interoperability systems, pain and temperature management product line, and i.v.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies and action plans aimed at influencing clinical decision-making in favor of new products and services and driving acceptance and satisfaction in complex or multi-clinical clinical environments. establishments within the framework of the plans defined for the regions, sectors (territories) and accounts
- Act as a nursing consultant and resource person for internal and external clients in complex and/or multi-facility environments for pre- and post-sales activities and implementation plans
- Act as the main training agent and liaison between internal resources and customers regarding products and system implementations
- Develop and lead internal customer product training programs
- Develop and lead account-specific programs to ensure the retention or growth of space occupied by ICU Medical products and services
- Track all projects using Klient software
- Coach internal colleagues on best practices and protocol changes
- Make presentations to key individuals or groups and encourage discussions on clinical concerns or issues
- Assist in handling product complaints and problem resolution, and liaise with other departments as required
- Maintain customer relationships and provide ongoing user support
- Provide support for local and national product trials, product simulations and trade shows
- Take part in special projects, as needed
Skills and Qualifications
- Leadership skills and customer approach
- Motivation, dynamism, professionalism, and ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal communication skills and strong presenting skills
- Very good sense of organization and ability to multitask
- Computer literacy; solid knowledge of Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook
- For positions based in Quebec, French-English bilingualism
Training and Experience
- Bachelor's degree from a university or accredited educational institution (preferred)
- Valid nursing license, bachelor's degree in nursing or master's degree in nursing (preferred)
- Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Work experience with specialization in intravenous therapy and intensive care, in an emergency department, neonatal intensive care unit, pediatric care unit or in oncology
- Experience in leadership, mentoring or education
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- Successfully undergo a background check as part of the hiring process
Working Environment
- This position involves field work.
- Work can be performed in a home office using standard office equipment, as well as in the field at client locations
- In order to be able to perform their essential functions at customers, the incumbent must actively comply with all current accreditation requirements, including vaccination against COVID-19
- In the performance of the duties, the incumbent may be required to sit, stand and walk for extended periods as required by the client
- As part of their job, the employee must hold a driver's license and must comply with the requirements set out in the authorized driver policy in order to drive a vehicle on company business .
- In general, the travel required represents more than 50% of the time
