Salary Range: $84,335 - $105,417 per annum plus comprehensive benefits

Reporting to the Advisor Nurse, Long-Term Care (LTC), the Practice, Innovation, Education Team requires an individual to perform responsibilities in alignment with legislated, regulatory requirements and directives in support of nursing departments across the five Long-Term Care Centres
What you will do in this role:
- Provide professional nursing expertise, guidance and recommendations for LTC decision making delivery of programs and services, and resident clinical outcomes
- Coach, mentor and guide clinical practice/skills development for nursing staff
- Act as a resource for nursing related issues, infection prevention and control, and advancements through conducting research, complex analysis, interpretation and reporting
- Support the analysis of MLTC compliance findings, including the development and implementation of LTC related initiatives specific to clinical and nursing support services
- Monitor critical incident system reports, identify trends, and corrective actions to support risk management, quality improvement and resident safety activities within the home and at the Divisional level
- Support ongoing developments and enhancement of the electronic health record
- Provide professional expertise, analysis and support in the development and maintenance of operational processes and policies in alignment with research, evidence-based best practices, legislative/regulatory requirements, Directives, Regionalof Peel policies, and Accreditation Standards in collaboration with the Nurse Advisor
- Maintain linkages and partnerships with internal and external bodies
- Conduct nursing department audits in relation to adherence to the Fixing Long Term Care homes Act, operational policies/procedures and protocols
- Additional work duties as assigned
What the role requires:
- Registered Nurse with BScN and current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Working knowledge of the Ministry of Long-Term Care FLTCA, and Ontario Regulation 246/22
- Sound understanding of Resident Assessment Instrument - Minimum Data Set (RAI-MDS) and associated quality reports
- Demonstrated commitment to practice advancement and resident clinic outcomes
Skills/Abilities:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including polished presentation skills
- Collaborative mindset to work directly with internal and external stakeholders

- Ability to independently navigate challenging conditions and rapidly changing priorities
Nice to have:
- Minimum of 5 years experience working in LTC setting
- Experience with Point Click Care

Work Mode & Job Location: In this role you will have the ability to work remotely and attend on-site when required based on operational requirements at the 10 Peel Centre Dr, Brampton, ON worksite. The frequency of on-site activities may vary on a weekly basis and based on operational requirements. Your remote work location must be located within the province of Ontario.
Hours of Work: 35 hours per week
