We currently have a Regular Full-time opportunity for a Registered Practical Nurse in the 3 East Nursing Unit at our Holland Centre.
Hours of Work:
Weekdays: Days, Nights; 12 hrs; As per schedule
Alternating Weekends: Days, Nights; 12 hrs; As per schedule

Summary of Duties
- To provide patient care within the scope of practice of your profession; which supports the philosophy of the Nursing Department and meets hospital and College of Nurses standards.
- Collaborates effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Active participation in process improvement and educational activities.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Current certificate or competence as an R.P.N. with the College of Nurses with Medication Certificate.
- Minimum two years' medical-surgical experience required, preferably in orthopaedic and Complex medical care nursing.
- Excellent Organizational Skills.
- Able to work effectively as a team member in association with the R.N.
- Current BCLS certificate.
- Membership in R.P.N.A.O an asset.
- Physical Assessment Course required.
- Commitment to person centred care concepts principles along with demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team
- Excellent interpersonal and team collaborative skills.
