Summary: The Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) will facilitate and provide care to a variety of gynecological patients during the patient's stay. The RPN will function within the Job Description of a Registered Practical Nurse and the College of Nurses Standards of Nursing Practice for Registered Practical Nurses. Contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Other information:

Current Registration Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario

Certification in Laser Safety preferred
Recent Peri-op certification essential
One year current operating room experience essential
Must demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of women's health issues
Must demonstrate the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with health professionals and patients
Must possess the ability to function effectively in a clinical setting
Must be reliable, dependable and flexible
Good attendance record
