We are offering our Registered Nurses an opportunity to participate in the Emergency Nursing Certificate course in partnership with Humber College.

The program aligns with the NENA (National Emergency Nurses Association) competencies and works to develop confidence in general emergency nursing, trauma and resuscitation training giving nurses the knowledge and confidence to grow and develop within our Emergency Departments!

FULLY funded Emergency Nursing Certificate program and placement in one of our three Emergency Departments!

What we're offering:

• FULLY paid Emergency Nursing certificate to be completed through Humber College.
• Virtual classes and on-site simulation hours FULLY paid for at your normal hourly rate.
• Opportunity to develop your skills and work alongside a team of highly trained nurses, physicians and more!
• Permanent Full-time position in the Emergency Department upon certificate completion.

What you need to know:

• The course includes synchronous learning, online theory and clinical hours in the emergency department (at your home site) with 3 Simulation days at the Humber College campus. Class is full time Monday to Friday.
• Must be available to attend the full duration of the course commencing:

Monday April 24, 2023 to Friday July 7, 2023

• Upon successful completion of this fully-paid certificate program, the Hospital's expectation is that you will provide a full-time employment commitment of 24 months to your assigned Emergency Department at Halton Healthcare.
