We currently have a number of opportunities for Registered Nurses (RN) to join our Complex Continuing Care teams at our Freeport Campus.

How Registered Nurses (RN) support our Complex Continuing Care teams at Grand River Hospital:

Our Registered Nurses (RN) oversee and deliver exceptional standards of care, rehabilitation and support to predominantly older and medically complex patients.

At Grand River Hospital, our Registered Nurses (RN) are key members of our interdisciplinary teams. Delivering exceptional care to our patients and ensuring a safe, supportive and welcoming environment, our RNs also:
  • Support and promote collaborative team practices
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and analysis of outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement and promote professional accountability
  • Act as role models to our nursing and support team members
  • Effectively manage unit resources
  • Consult with our multidiscipline teams to ensure our patients receive the highest level of care and support

At Grand River Hospital, our Registered Nurses (RNs) Supporting our Complex Continuing Care Team:
  • Hold registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), or have demonstrated eligibility to become registered
  • Have recent experience in Complex Care, Rehabilitation or Medicine
  • Have successfully completed Basic cardiopulmonary life support (BCLS) training
  • Experience in responding to emergency situations; rapidly identifying priorities and complex patient care needs
  • Demonstrate exceptional assessment skills and the ability to function independently
  • Teach, support and coach our care team members to promote continuous improvement and learning
  • Develop, create and utilize research based teaching and resource material
