Job Description
We are seeking a part-time RPN or RN to join our team at Belmont Family Medicine. We are a group of 3 Family Physicians looking for an RPN or RN to join our team. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, good interpersonal skills, and a desire to work in a team atmosphere.
Brief Job Description:
Calling patients to review results in collaboration with physicians
Addressing common patient concerns over phone after initial triaging by front staff
Immunizations of children and adults
Other injections such as B12 and Prolia
Ordering medical supplies for the office
Assistance with booking testing at the request of physicians
Ear syringing
Assisting physicians as required (i.e. with procedures such as paps, biopsies, wound packing, and suture removal)
Qualifications:
Successful completion of RPN or RN training program
Familiarity with Practice Solutions EMR software an asset
Excellent organization and time management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Professional manner in-person and on the phone
Strong knowledge of medical office procedures
Able to respond positively to work volume fluctuations
Experience:
Prefer minimum one-year work experience in a medical office/urgent care/clinic setting although not required
Job Type: Part-time 2.5 days per week, starting hourly wage based on training and experience
