Registered Nurse

Reporting to the Director of Care, the Registered Nurse provides resident-focused care, within an interdisciplinary team according to the Standards of Practice of College of Nurses of Ontario and consistent with the Mission and Philosophy of Care at Bonnechere Manor. Required to perform duties in accordance with the Standards of Nursing Practice, College of Nurses of Ontario, and Long-Term Care Legislation.

 Qualifications:

• A Registered Nurse with a current certificate of competency from the College of Nurses of Ontario, with annual mandatory license renewal.
• Post R.N. education and experience in gerontology or related field, preferred.
• Current CPR certification and WHMIS certification.
• Ability to work with others in a team approach, and adapt to changing situations.
• Physically capable to perform assigned duties within a flexible work schedule inside a 24/7 operation.
• Ability to meet and maintain health requirements as per Long-Term Care Legislation.
• Current (within 6 months) Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check a condition of employment.
• Up to date with required COVID-19 vaccinations.

   Salary: Start — $37.52, 1 Year— $41.50, 2 Years— $43.74, 3 Years—$49.25, 8 Years – $49.58, 15 Years – $49.91, 25 Years—$50.24, plus comprehensive benefits package.
