As a trusted partner, This is a Contract position that could lead to Permanent in future. In this role you will lead and mentor a team of home caregivers and nurses in providing exemplary health care services to our clients in communities across Erie St Clair. The Work You Will Do
As a Nursing Supervisor, you will work to support and lead your team to meet the diverse needs of the clients and caregivers you serve in your community:
Assessment Delivery
Develop, monitor and update Care Plans. This role involves a high level of hands-on management and coaching including onsite visits with clients and caregivers in the field. Assist the Client Service Coordinator in the coordination of services.
Leadership/Management

Supervise, support, mentorship of caregivers
Audit and regulatory compliance for provincial and in-house best practices
Facilitate staff supervisory visits
Combine an entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on leadership in the community
This position has an on-call and weekend/after-hours support component

Training & Development

Coordinate and develop education programs for caregivers

Community Care/On-Call

Provide clinical care when required
Hands-on Clinical/Nursing care as required
Build client relationships
This position has an on-call and weekend/after-hours support component

Job Qualification

Who You Are

You have a desire to help improve the lives of those in your community
You are a graduate from an accredited Licensed/Registered Practical Nursing Program; current registration with the provincial regulating body with valid CPR certification
You have a solid knowledge of the principles, practices, and methods of community nursing and service delivery to clients as well as program development, implementation and evaluation
You have at least two years of recent experience with progressive responsibilities, as a clinical manager, preferably in a community setting
You have a strong track record in leading the development and evaluation of training programs using strong interpersonal skills
You have a demonstrated ability to handle all aspects of human resources and interpret company policies and procedures
You have experience in business development is an asset
You have exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to handle difficult situations in an objective consistent format; ability to work independently and effectively lead a team; above average report writing and communication skills with both Field and Administrative employees; valid driver's license and evidence of current CPR certification
You are dedicated to providing high-quality service
You have received the full series of a COVID-19 vaccine or combination of COVID-19 vaccines approved by Health Canada**
