If you are a nurse interested in providing excellent care by using different nursing skills every day and expanding these skills through ongoing nursing education, CBI Home Health has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated nurse like you.

In this opportunity you will work in a home health setting, providing excellent nursing care which may include wound care, IV therapy, palliative care, tube feeding & medication administration, using your assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and health teaching skills.

This opportunity is in Inverary. Shifts for the full-time position consist of 5 overnight shits weekly, from 11 pm - 7 am - shift scheduling is subject to change

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL?

• Registration as a member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario and compliant with all applicable laws relating to nursing practice in Ontario.
• Professional Liability Insurance, CPR and First Aid, a Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector screening.
• Availability to work overnight shifts.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Effective problem-solving and conflict management skills.
• Advanced wound care experience is an asset.
• Palliative and symptom management knowledge and experience is an asset.
• Experience in community nursing is an asset.
• Full vaccination against COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination upon hire or provide a valid medical exemption
