Home Care Assistance has an opportunity for a LIVE IN Caregiver/PSW position for Saturday 9pm to Sunday 9pm available in the Greater Toronto Area. You will be caring for an elderly woman with spinal stenosis and cognitive decline. Assistance is needed with but not limited to morning care and bedtime routine, meal preparation, medication management, light housekeeping, personal care, companionship, range of motion exercises and ambulatory support if needed. Additional support from LHIN is provided.

Hoyer lift training is provided

Located: Rosedale Valley Rd and Mt. Pleasant - Toronto

Job Requirements:

We're looking for the best! Here's what we'd like to see:

• At least 3 years of dementia experience preferred
• PSW Certificate or other relevant training
• Must be comfortable with the physical demands of the role, including the ability to assist clients with lifts/transfers, standing, walking, sitting and repositioning.
• A positive attitude and the ability to prioritize client's needs.
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check
