What You'll Do:
- Care for a wide range of clients such as acutely ill patients, palliative, pediatric, or geriatric
- Provide nursing support services such as specialized wound care to clients in the comfort of their own home
- Infection prevention is paramount to you and you keep your client safe by ensuring best practices in prevention methods are being followed
- Work one-on-one with each client with more time to focus on their physical, emotional, and safety needs
- Perform extensive nursing practices and procedures in consultation with an interdisciplinary team
- Opportunity to provide direction, and support, to paraprofessional employees (PSWs, HCAs, CHWs, etc.) as appropriate
- Identify and document changes to clients care plans according to company standard of care and provincial legislation.
- Maintain privacy and confidentiality of client and corporate information.
Job Qualification
What You'll Need:
- Proof of Covid vaccine
- Negative TB test
- Current Registered nursing license in good standing with CNO
- Graduated from an accredited Nursing program
- Must have a valid driver's License and access to a vehicle
- Clear vulnerable sector check
- Excellent assessment, documentation, verbal, and communication skills
