Registered Nurse (part-time)

We invite applications for a part-time Registered Nurse at St. Andrew's College.

Nurses at St. Andrew’s College provide health care to the school community, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of student health, direct nursing care, and counseling services, in accordance with the guidelines and requirements of the College of Nurses of Ontario Standards of Nursing Practice, and the Health Discipline Act.

The schedule for this position will include the following:

• 2-3 evenings per week 3 pm to 10 pm (Monday, Tuesday, and occasional Wednesdays) On-call hours (nights and weekends) One weekend per month Schedule follows academic calendar (September – June)

The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse with current First Aid and CPR certifications and a desire to work with children.  Candidates must illustrate knowledge of health care standards, emerging issues, and best practices for the development and delivery of health and safety programs, particularly as related to children and youth, as well as knowledge of all relevant legislation and regulations.
