Personal Support Worker - Italian Family

PSW needed for Everette to work with a strong Italian speaking family.

1 : 1 experience with wife: Dementia and sever pain

Shift 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday: Occasion Saturdays

Please know this is a strong Italian family. This is important you can handle working with a Husband, Wife and Daughter in the same room of the home while you work.

Must be able to move client to help stand and washroom.

For the right person this could be a great position.

Position pays $19.00/hour

Responsibilities of a Personal Support Worker:

• Establish open communication with seniors and their families
• Assist clients with errands, light housekeeping, meal preparation, grocery shopping, transportation, ambulation, transfers
• Personal care including bathing, dressing, mobility, incontinence care, feeding and other services
• Companionship and friendship for seniors and loved ones
• Medication reminders

Job Requirements:

• A passion for the job and helping others
• Access to reliable transportation and valid insurance (would be an asset)
• Ability to pass a background check and reference check
• A hunger to learn how to best care for your clients
