Nurse Manager (RN/RPN) - Permanent Full Time - Evening Shift

As our Full Time Evening Nurse Manager reporting to the Director of Care, you will lead the healthcare team in the provision of resident care and compliance with standards on all nursing units. You will empower and encourage Nurses and PSWs to exercise their critical thinking when providing care to the residents.

This vital role at Sienna Senior Living has you taking the lead in directing and managing team members of the home, meeting families, addressing immediate resident care requirements, completing quality assurance assignments, and ensuring staffing coverage and coordination of emergency response protocols in the absence of the other home managers.

Must Haves:

• Current registration and good standing with CNO
• BScN from accredited program or PN/RPN diploma
• Current First Aid/CPR for HCP
• Minimum of 1 year leadership/management experience in LTC
• Sound nursing knowledge in geriatric care and nursing administration
• Knowledge of relevant legislation governing the long-term care sector, for example, Long Term Care Homes Act, Residents' Bill of Rights, employment standards
• Ability to direct, instruct, and evaluate team members.
• Knowledge of Critical Incident Reporting guidelines
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills
