As Nurse Manager, you will oversee the Endoscopy programs that is part of the Sprott Surgery Program across TG and TW including advanced endoscopy, bronchoscopy, cystoscopy and Medical Day Care and Motility clinic at TW. You will work with physician leaders to ensure high quality outpatient and inpatient carry. Your sound judgment and strong leadership abilities will enable you to lead and develop an ???interdisciplinary group of approximately 60 Team UHN members focused on delivering quality patient care. Oversee day-to-day operations including education, quality management, staff utilization, financial and human resource management, resolving patient care issues, problems and concerns. You will develop and motivate a cohesive team and will identify and support educational strategies to enhance staff knowledge with respect to professional nursing practices and patient care. You will need to build and continue to maintain dynamic relationships with internal stakeholders and external organizations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Client-focused and able to excel in a diverse, unionized work environment
  • Minimum of 5-6 years experience in acute care/Procedural care
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of leadership experience.
  • Experience working in Endoscopy/Cystoscopy would be a valuable asset.
  • Current registration in good standing, with ?College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Master's in Nursing or other Master's degree (completed or in progress)
  • Able to demonstrate project management skills with a focus on the improvement of patient flow, care and outpatient access.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Able to maintain professionalism while meeting competing demands and while working with the interprofessional team.
  • Knowledge & proficiency with using Microsoft Office, Outlook applications, and electronic health records is an asset.
