Job Summary
Responsible and accountable for the continuous patient flow of Admissions and Discharges following SMH patient flow processes and addresses identified processes and/or other issues impeding the patient's flow from admission to discharge.
The incumbent demonstrates fflexibility in patient assignment and unit coverage where care needed and promotes optimal patient and clinical outcomes by assessing and facilitating the effective management of care and ensuring standards of practice are met.
Qualifications and Experience

Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses (CNO) as a Registered Practical Nurse.
Understanding of Lean processes an asset
Minimum of two (2) years recent and relevant experience.
Experience in process improvement and patient flow.

Regular Part-time Commitment: No set schedule and must be available to work the following:

at least two (2) scheduled tours per week (12 hour shifts)
at least one (1) weekend in two (2), where applicable this may include two (2) consecutive weekends
all shifts (days, nights) where applicable.

Wages: $30.01 to $31.89 /hour plus 14% in lieu of benefits (10% if in HOOPP)_OPSEU collective agreement
