Position Summary

Are you a dedicated and experienced Emergency Nurse, looking for your next career move? Come and put your skills to the test at the Boundary Hospital in Grand Forks, BC!

Boundary Hospital's emergency department has 10 stretchers and 1 trauma bay. This rural but very busy department typically sees 1300 emergency visits each month. Also on site are 12 acute care beds, a number of outpatient services and an adjoining residential care facility.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity (0.65 FTE). Shifts will be rotating Days, Evenings from 08:00 to 20:00, 20:00 to 08:00.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

• Advanced preparation in the Emergency or Rural Emergency clinical specialty or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within 3 years.
