Nurse Parctitioner

Job description

We are looking for a permanent Nurse Practitioner to join out team as we grow.

This position would be Monday to Friday, 4:00-10:00pm daily for both virtual and in clinic visits for patients.

The ideal candidate would:

Be able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

· Order and administer tests including bloodwork

· Review and interpret test results to diagnose health problems

· Recommend further treatment options or future appointments if needed

· Provide referrals to other practitioners when necessary

· Provide after-care/ongoing care information and resources to patients and their families

· Ensure patient records are kept up to date including test results, immunizations, condition changes, etc.

• Master's degree in nursing
• Current state nurse practitioner license
• 5+ years of nursing experience
• Able to operate as part of a team, alongside physicians and other nurses
• Proficient in EMR medical charting system and computer-based data management programs and information systems
