Bayshore is looking for passionate and caring Personal Support Workers (PSW) to join our amazing team (Full-time, Part-Time, Casual)
Pay would be between $18.54 to $19.57 plus Pandemic pay of $3.00 per hour in addition to rate of pay applies for all hours worked.
Signing bonus: $500 after completing 975 hours
Benefits- Health and Dental Benefits available for P/T, and Casual employees
What You will be doing:

Provide personal care service according to directions on the established care plan or assignment sheet, and ensure that, on an ongoing basis, the emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of clients are met to the greatest possible extent.
Provide personal care that is within the provincial scope of practice for a Personal Support Worker
Perform specialized, client specific procedures for which recognized training and current competency can be demonstrated.
Understands and implements infection prevention practices.
Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel
Complete other tasks as requested

Job Qualification

Ideal Candidate and Qualifications:

Must have driver's license with a reliable vehicle and possess certification as a Personal Support Worker (PSW), 2nd year nursing student or equivalent through a recognized College or educational institution

Must demonstrate a commitment to safety by providing quality care in accordance with the organization's mission and vision

Bayshore is committed to a high quality and safe environment for both our staff and clients/patients. At Bayshore all new hires must have received the full series of a COVID-19 vaccine or combination of COVID-19 vaccines approved by Health Canada (e.g., two doses of a two dose vaccine series or one dose of a single- dose vaccine series); AND have received the final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to the official start date of hire. Medical exemptions or any other kinds of requested exemptions based upon Human Rights Code will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
