We are offering our Registered Nursing staff an opportunity to participate in an

OR Perioperative + practicum FULLY paid for!

What we're offering:
  • FULLY paid OR Perioperative Course to completed through George Brown College or Humber College
  • In Class and practicum hours will be FULLY paid for at your normal hourly rate.
  • The opportunity to develop your perioperative skills and work alongside a team of highly trained nurses, physicians, anesthesiologists, and more!
  • Following successful completion of the course, you will join our Operating Room Staffing Team to support OR needs across all three sites.

What you need to know:
  • Theory components will commence in April or May, followed by a 6-8 week clinical placement. The total full time course commitment is approximately 14 weeks.
  • Following successful completion of the OR Perioperative course and practicum, you will provide a 24-month commitment of employment to Halton Healthcare as a perioperative nurse
  • Our Operating Room Nursing Resource Team is tri-site and you must be able to work at any of our hospitals (Oakville, Milton and Georgetown).
  • No previous OR experience required!
