Registered Practical Nurse/Medical Laser Aesthetician

Job Description
Our busy and growing Aesthetic and Surgical practice requires a mature Registered Practical Nurse who has a keen interest and a willingness to train in performing medical laser treatments, medical aesthetics/injectables, pre and post patient care, and aging face consultations. Responsibilities:

• Provide medical laser treatments such as IPL, Morpheus 8, and Forma.
• Pre-operative and post operative nursing care.
• Patient Education.
• Has a broad understanding of all clinic services and products in order to provide outstanding care to our patients.
• Monitors and replenishes inventory as well as submits orders to our providers when needed.
• Leads the consultation process for patients and presents them to our Medical Director in order to establish a specific plan.
• Prepares quotations for cosmetic services and presents them to patients.
• Utilizes our Medical system with accuracy and proficiency.
• Room preparation and sterilization.
• Adheres to safety and hygiene protocols at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 5 years experience as an RPN
• Interest in Medical Aesthetics and Facial Cosmetic Surgery
• RPN willing to train for laser treatments and/or obtain qualifications for certification
• Great communication skills and able to work in a collaborative team environment
• Able to organize and perform in a busy work environment
• Demonstrates accurate and detailed note taking
• Keen interest to learn and acquire the specialized knowledge and skills to provide advanced laser treatments required to ensure best results for our patients
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English. French an asset
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
