We are urgently hiring RPNs who are experienced and driven to succeed. We need Registered Practical Nurses within long-term care homes, retirement homes, and community support.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring and record patients' health patterns and family health history
  • Conducting routine screen and diagnostic assessments
  • Assisting and educating patients about their medication and treatment plan
  • Administering medication and other necessary treatment plan approved by the physician
  • Communicate, seek advice and consult with the supervisory team on the best method of a treatment plan for each patient
  • Provide essential support and guidance for the immediate family members

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as an RPN
  • Certificate in Medication Administration
  • Ability to work independently as well as an effective team player
  • Working knowledge of the Ministry of health and long-term care standards
  • Ability to remain focussed in a stressful environment
  • Must be able to communicate in English, both written and orally
  • Demonstrate flexibility to adapt in varying situations as required by the job

You will need to be:
  • Eligible to work in Canada
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses
  • Trained in standard first aid & CPR Level C or HCP
  • Able to work in a COVID environment

Up to date immunization record of:
  • 2 step TB test
  • Tetanus shot
  • MMR vaccine
  • Hepatitis B vaccine
  • Varicella vaccine
  • Vulnerable Sector Check
