Senior Program Manager Long-Term Care Best Practice Guideline Program
The Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario is seeking an accomplished RN for the role of Senior Program Manager, Long-Term Care Best Practice Guideline Program, funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. Working from Home Office in Toronto you will provide the leadership and strategic direction to support the dissemination, implementation and evaluation of RNAO's best practice guidelines (BPGs) in the long-term care sector as well as Long-Term Care Best Practice Spotlight Organizations® (BPSOs).
As a Senior Program Manager you will scan the environment to create and coordinate provincial opportunities to promote, implement and integrate the use of evidence-based best practices in the LTC sector, linking and integrating BPG and BPSO initiatives. With your virtual team of RN Long-Term Care Coordinators, you will identify performance measurement, quality improvement, knowledge transfer and capacity building activities that link BPG implementation to improved resident care and outcomes.
You are a masters-prepared RN, currently registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario and have prior experience as a Director of Care in the Long-Term Care sector. You have experience with implementation of RNAO best practice guidelines. You also possess experience in adult education strategies. Leadership and motivational skills, project management experience and experience working with a virtual team are a must for this role. This is a full-time position and the successful candidate will be required to work at the RNAO home office in Toronto. Incidental travel within Ontario may be required.
