Director, International Affairs and Best Practice Guidelines Centre
RNAO is seeking an outstanding professional to join its team as Director, International Affairs and Best Practice Guidelines (IABPG) Centre. Reporting to the CEO, you join the senior management team of our progressive and dynamic organization. Your primary responsibility is to provide strategic direction and oversight to the activities of the IABPG Centre.
Working with nurses and other health professionals, researchers, and data analysts, you will advance the world-renowned BPG program to the next phase of influence and impact. The program is served by a team of experts in the areas of clinical practice evidence-based guideline development; knowledge-transfer, uptake and sustainability; as well as research and evaluation. You will lead the strategic direction and operational success of the BPG program as a whole and of each of its components. You have in-depth knowledge of research methods, clinical practice evaluation and performance measurement as it relates to continuous quality improvement and accountability practices.
Your ability to identify issues and articulate ideas and arguments will contribute to the formulation of association strategies that are congruent with our mission and ends. You are experienced working with a range of stakeholders in the health sector and have a proven ability to communicate and promote strategic objectives. Your thirst for knowledge development, excellence in nursing practice, and its impact on patients, organizational and health system outcomes will take you to different locations in Ontario, Canada and abroad.
A registered nurse (RN) is preferred and the successful candidate must hold a PhD. Research expertise is required for this role. A visionary, creative, independent thinker with management experience will excel in this role. Salary commensurate with experience.
