Clinical Quality Specialist

The kind of work you’ll be doing:

Clinical Implementation tasks include:

  • Clinically lead and support multiple projects and high profile clients with high level of complexity with varying scope and delivery
  • Act as a clinical expert and provide input in Quality Improvement initiatives by conducting deep data analysis on client specific order sets/CST
  • Provide clinical leadership, support and consultation to clients to enhance current service delivery, establish and promote best practices and identify, develop, coordinate and facilitate quality improvement services within the client's organization
  • Support our Product Management team, and CQS Director with key internal projects and initiatives

Quality assurance tasks include:

  • Ensuring that Order Sets are clinically correct and reflective of current practices
  • Ensuring that all Order Set requests from our clients are captured and adapted appropriately
  • Ensuring that ISMP standards are incorporated into  practices
  • Identifying safety concerns and facilitating resolutions with other team members
  • Providing clinical guidance and advice to ensure our client's Order Sets are safe, accurate and clear
  • Maintaining clear documentation of Order Set development work and communications with clients


  • You are a registered nurse, nurse practitioner, or medical doctor, in good standing with your regulating body
  • You are knowledgeable in Order Set content, layout and organization
  • You have experience in quality improvement initiatives in a hospital setting
  • You have minimum 5 years experience in a healthcare setting
  • You have proven research experience, and participate in policy committees (or equivalent)
  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • You enjoy interacting directly with clients
  • You enjoy finding novel solutions to unique problems
  • You have outstanding attention to detail
  • You enjoy working in a fun, fast-paced team environment while maintaining a professional relationship with our clients.

Skills that would be considered an asset :

  • Experience with change management
  • Experience in ICU or ER
  • Previous experience managing projects
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office and Google applications
  • Bilingual in English and French
