Nurse/Phlebotomist (Temporary)

Position:                                Nurse/Phlebotomist (Temporary)


Reporting to:                         Director, Life Sciences Laboratory


Hours/Days of Work:            Approximately 50 hours in total; must be within business hours, Monday through Friday between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Exact schedule and/or frequency will depend on the successful candidate’s availability.


Hourly Rate:                          $30.00-32.00/hour

The Research Division at CMCC is conducting a clinical study that will require the assistance of a nurse licenced and experienced in phlebotomy. In particular the study will require the placement of an IV catheter for the purpose of repeated blood sampling following an intervention.



  • Performs phlebotomy, including the placement of intravenous catheters fitted with a saline lock in order to collect blood samples at intervals
  • Performs other duties as required



  • A registered nurse (preferred) or medical laboratory technologist, with a license to practice in Ontario
