Job Summary

We are currently seeking Temporary Full-time ( maternity leave ) Registered Nurse to join our team at the Sprucedale Care Centre, a 96-bed LTC Home in Strathroy, ON. Although this is a temporary position, we are expanding to 128 beds within the next 18 months!

Qualifications and Skills

• Agrees with the objectives and philosophy of the Home and displays a caring, respectful attitude toward the residents, families, and team members
• Supports and embraces a resident-centered social culture
• Demonstrates excellent time management and organizational skills
• Communicates effectively with others
• Works well independently and as a co-operative team member
• Shows skill in planning, coordinating, and supervising nursing team members
• Committed to supporting residents with a high quality of personal care
• Demonstrates skill with computers
• Has current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse
• Holds a current Heart Save Level of CPR
• Geriatric nursing experience preferred
• Able to cope with the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the job

Salary: $31.51-$45.09 per hour
