Nursing Research Associate
The Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO) is currently recruiting for a Nursing Research Associate to provide support to the Best Practice Guidelines Program by participating in the development of clinical and healthy work environment best practice nursing guidelines. The Nursing Research Associates will become part of our guideline development team, working closely with the RNAO Associate Director of Guideline Development, and Program Manager Research and Evaluation to lead the systematic review process that informs guideline development. The Nursing Research Associate will be involved in new guideline development and/or the review/update of existing guidelines.
In this role you will be responsible for conducting systematic reviews of defined research questions, including pilot and comprehensive literature searches, literature screening and relevance reviews, data extraction, quality appraisal and evidence synthesis. Producing search results, data summaries, narrative reports and work updates for review is also part of this role. You will work collaboratively with expert panel members and health science librarians.
Successful candidates will have a demonstrated, in-depth, understanding of evidence-based nursing practice and systematic review methodology. A Masters degree in nursing or a related field is required. This position ia full-time, on-site, located at the RNAO Home Office at 158 Pearl Street, Toronto. All candidates are responsible for their own travel arrangements and initial screening will be conducted by telephone. The salary range for this role is $64K to $68K.
